Wakizashi are hand forged by a master blacksmith using the same proven techniques as their ancestors. Wakizashi is very sharp, it has a clay tempered T10 carbon steel blade, which extends from the brass habaki and the brass Samurai tsuba. The hardwood handle is wrapped in genuine tea-colored leather and brown rope, and features brass dragon lugs and a brass tip. The 78cm Wakizashi slides smoothly into a black lacquered wooden sheath with a brown accent on the cover. Also included with the Shikoto Hidden Samurai Wakizashi is a certificate of authenticity with forging specifications, signed by the master smith who made the blade.
