Description

Looking for a high quality but good value functional sword for combat reenactment? With this two-handed medieval sword, we offer discerning swordsmen the ideal weapon - a tough yet lightweight, well-balanced, battle-ready sword that's easy on the wallet.
This is an original ULFBERTH® product

The sword has the typical characteristics of a traditional European late medieval two-handed sword and represents, so to speak, the archetype of the late medieval longsword. This classic example of a slashing and stabbing longsword is modeled after the weaponry swords worn by 15th century knights.

The long, double-edged, high-carbon steel blade with a straight diamond cross-section has a gentle profile and tapers distally to the tip. It has a full top and is riveted to the apple. Blunt edges are approx. Thickness 2.5 mm / 1.5 mm, and the tip is rounded.
The cross-shaped handle consists of a long wooden core handle with a brown leather cover, a flat steel cross guard and an elongated octagonal odor-stopping apple, also made of steel, with concave sides and a rounded top.
All in all, this two-handed medieval sword combines optimal weight distribution, agility and a secure grip with elegant simplicity.

This late medieval knight's sword comes complete with a beautiful wooden scabbard covered in brown leather. The top is reinforced with blue steel armor, and on the throat, the skin extends upwards and covers part of the shield on the ricasso. The scabbard is also equipped with an adjustable carrying belt (strap).
