Created by the Dark Lord Sauron, the Uruk-Hai were the largest and strongest breed of orcs, spreading fear and terror throughout Middle-earth. In the Third Age, the wizard Saruman the White gathered a massive army in the pits beneath the tower of Orthanc to use in the War of the One Ring against the Free Peoples of Middle-earth. Forged in the underground pits of Isengard, the swords served as a deadly weapon for the Uruks, who used them in the Battle of Helm's Deep, among other battles.
