This sword is based on the sword of Beatrix Kiddo (also known as Black Mamba or The Bride) from the cult film Kill Bill.
During the film, Beatrix convinces the retired legendary swordsmith Hattori Hanzo to forge a sword for her. Hanzo agrees and spends a month working on what is probably his best blade. After handing it over to Kiddo, she heads to Tokyo to begin her campaign of revenge.
The katana offered here has a blade made of 1045 high carbon steel with an engraved hamon line in Shinogi Zukuri style. There is also a lion engraving on the edge. The handle wrapping, covered with leather, is made of black faux leather in the classic Hineri-Maki style. The Saya has a highly polished finish (Kuroro style), two inlaid ornaments, and a golden sageo.
