Katana – 2B, Nier: Automata Virtuous Treaty
The inspiration for this sword is called Virtuous Treaty and comes from the JRPG NieR:Automata
It is designed as a reference to the distinctive blade of android YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B for short).
In Nier:Automata, you enter a post-apocalyptic world where androids fight against machines. 2B is therefore one of the playable characters. An anime adaptation by the same creator was released in 2023, depicting one of the possible playthroughs of the action RPG with several changes to the story.
This katana is designed as a collector's item or decorative item, and is also ideal as a prop, e.g., to complete your costume or cosplay. It is not functional for use.
