The peacock is called Kujaku in Japan and is a symbol of the goddess of mercy, compassion and a kind heart, which is supposed to ensure health.

- Shinogi-Zukuri blade style with Bo-Hi.
- Sharply ground edge made of 1045 carbon steel.
- Traditional Hineri Maki style black cotton handle wrap, lined with rye leather.
- Tang attached to the handle with 2 bamboo pins (soft) (fully detachable).
- Decorative metal elements (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira).
- Habaki and seppa made of brass.
- Sheath (Kuroro style) made of wood, high gloss.
