Ninja sword called ninja to. The neighboring Kouga and Iga clans of feudal Japan were bitter enemies, and their warring Ninja families were immortalized in Japanese literature. To commemorate these mysterious warriors, Hanwei has introduced the Kouga and Iga Ninja-To swords.
The Iga Ninja-To is forged from carbon steel and differentially hardened. The cutting blade has a Rockwell hardness of approximately 60 HRC. This ninja sword features a detachable tsuka with two pins attached with real stingray skin, a traditional cotton sheath and cloud, sun, water and moon menuki.
The black iron fittings include a tsuba with the Iga family crest (called mon) and a wave motif. Both symbols are repeated on Fuchi and Kashira. Saya has partial rattan winding and extra
