Burgonet was created in the 16th century. At first it was very popular with infantry, but later horsemen also wore these helmets. It developed into the most commonly worn helmet during the 16th and 17th centuries.
This reconstruction has a very typical helmet comb. The cheek guards are flexible and detachable. The helmet will be supplied with two bevors, one with a flap and one with crossbars. The helmet can be worn without any worries or be the perfect decoration. The helmet has a comfortable leather lining with chin straps.
