Basim's sword, the Initiate of Alamut in Assassin's Creed, is a scimitar-type sword designed for players who enjoy parrying and quickly punishing opponents. Its main strength is a perk that enhances the follow-up attack after a successful parry. It was forged by Rebekah in 861 specifically for Basim, at Roshan's request. Basim later perfected the weapon with the help of Baghdad's blacksmiths.
