Description

A very nice replica of a late medieval two-handed sword. This type of sword appeared in the 14th century and was called the Long Sword.

This practical blunt longsword is forged exclusively by hand. The inverted guard with a twisted parry ring is made of steel. The wooden handle is artistically carved. The spiral pattern is repeated on the handle and on the steel apple. The full tip spring steel blade, oil hardened to 48-50° Rockwell, is riveted to the apple. The blade has a diamond section. The edges of this one-and-a-half medieval sword are blunt, and the tip is rounded.

- Blade material: spring steel EN45, heat treated
- Rockwell hardness of the blade: approx. 48-50° HRC
- Total length: approx. 122 cm
- Blade length: approx. 93.5 cm
- Blade width on the guard: approx. 50 mm
- Balance point: approx. 9 cm
- Weight without cover: approx. 2400 g
