King Solomon's Sword, Marto

Solomon, king of Israel, was the second son of Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, whom his father David married. He ruled Israel from 970 to 931 BC and was respected and known as a wise, just, and powerful king. Solomon raised the Israelite monarchy to its highest level of prosperity, built the Temple of Jerusalem and the wall around the city, and fostered science and the arts.
