Shikoto Hammer-Forged Longquan Master wakizashi
When you hold the Shikoto Hammer-Forged Longquan Master wakizashi in your hand, you are holding the same weapon that a warrior used more than 2,500 years ago. Using methods used by Bronze Age swordsmiths, the high carbon T10 steel blade is hammer-forged and tempered in clay to produce a visible hamon line. Differential tempering gives this magnificent sword a harder edge and softer spine, the hallmark of a high-quality weapon. The tsuba and handle fittings are made of solid brass, and the wooden handle has a traditional wrap over genuine tea-stained leather.
The blade is housed in a black lacquered and polished wooden scabbard. Also included with the Shikoto Longquan Master Teal wakizashi is a certificate of authenticity with forging specifications, signed by the master smith who crafted the blade.
