Since then, the forest was no longer safe and got its current name. In the northern part live the Sylvan Elves, better known as the Wood Elves, which include Thranduil and his son Legolas.
The Darkwood Infantry are soldiers of the Forest Watch, sworn to protect and watch over the great forest of Darkwood, Thranduil's realm. They are deadly fighters and experts in the use of various weapons, including the bow and sword.
The Walking Sword of Mirkwood is an elegant and deadly sylvan design, crafted with a two-handed grip and an elven blade forged from sylvan steel, lavishly decorated with elven patterns.
