Description

Sir William Marshall Sword with Damascus steel blade
The Hanwei One-Handed Marshall Sword sets new standards of quality and authenticity in broadsword making. The sword is based on the original, now in the British Museum, and was used by one of England's finest knights, Sir William Marshall, who faithfully served the crown under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart and Jack Lackland.

One-handed Marshall sword with a folded blade made of Swedish powder steel (Damascus blade). Hardened to a solid HRC 52. The blade section has a central convex fuller and a full length distal taper - a tough test for the smith, but results in a superb combination of speed and power. The handle is covered in leather and has laces, and the guard and apple are elegant in their functional simplicity. The covers are covered in leather with steel supports.
Truly a connoisseur's sword.
