Russian Kinzhal (Kindjal)
The original model for this replica military dagger was used in the Russian Red Army until the middle of the 20th century. The curved, double-edged blade was perfect as a melee weapon. The Kinzhal (also known as Kindjal, Kanjal or Kinschal) is actually the traditional dagger of the Caucasian horsemen and Cossacks, but it also enjoyed great popularity with the Russian cavalry.
This Kindjal has an unsharpened blade made of high carbon steel ful thang (goes through the entire handle). The handle is made of two parts of hardwood. The guard is covered with a brass sheet.
The cover (holster) is made of leather with brass accessories.
