Persian saber Shamshir

Shamshir is a Persian saber. It's a cutting weapon. The strongly curved blade makes it a solid saber, and the cuts are more effective. It is produced in many different countries such as India, the Balkans, Russia and Turkey. In addition to its function as a weapon, the saber was often also a ceremonial sword.

This Shamshir has a sharpened blade made of high carbon steel. The curved, spherical handle together with the handle is made of two pieces of wood and is attached to the plug. The scabbard is made of wood wrapped in leather and has a steel cap and carrying rings.
