Description

Roman Cavalry Sword Spatha with belt
Spatha means "broad blade" in Latin and is a double-edged, one-handed sword with a straight blade. This form of sword existed around the 1st century BC. until the end of the early Middle Ages. Spatha was used by the Romans until the fall of the Roman Empire.
