Description

Lord of the Rings - Glamdring, Gandalf's sword
This is an Officially Licensed Movie Replica from Lord of the Rings, United Cutlery

The word Glamdring comes from the Elven language of Sindarin and translates as an enemy's hammer. The history of this magical sword, whose blade begins to glow whenever orcs are nearby, is quite mysterious. The wizard Gandalf found it (just as Bilbo found his sting) in a troll lair at Rhûdaur after the trolls were tricked and turned to stone. At Rivendell, Elrond deciphered a runic inscription that said he was once wanted for Turgon, King of Gondolin. This magnificent sword remained with Gandalf until his days in Middle-earth.

This collector's item with authentic details is an officially licensed reproduction of the sword wielded by Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. United Cutlery, the industry leader in fine film reproductions, has painstakingly recreated the real prop sword using only the finest materials and craftsmanship. Great attention to detail was the main priority.Measuring approx. 121cm long overall, this beautiful sword features a 420 hardened stainless steel blade, solid metal hilt parts and a genuine leather hilt.
