Description

John Lee Tombo Katana
The dragonfly (Japanese: "tombo") was considered an honorable symbol of the samurai. It symbolized the courage of the warrior and the attitude of never giving up.
In Shinto, the insect represents the rice plant and is a harbinger of a profitable decline. The Japanese have expressed their worship of this animal in numerous poems.
This sword is the pinnacle in many ways. Specially thematic decorations, differently heat-treated blade in shobo zukuri style and scabbard with kozuku (small utility knife) make this sword something special.

- Shobo Zukuri style blade (fluid transition to tip) with fuller (bo-hi)

- Traditional hineri maki handle wrap made of burgundy silk.
- Black, mirror polished saya (kuroro style)
- Sheath with a scabbard (small utility knife)
- Comes in a beautiful collector's box.
- Made according to historical examples.
