This katana is 105.5 cm long with a 74.5 cm blade and a 30.5 cm tsuka. It has a sharp Shinogi-Zukuri style blade made of 1095 carbon steel. It is made with variations in the hardness of the blade: the sharp edge (hasaki) has a hardness of HRC 60, and the back of the blade has a hardness of HRC 40.
