The sharp, sleek AUS-6 stainless steel tanto sword blade features the classic non-reflective black coating, extended bleed, partial serrations and the prominent USMC stamp that fans of the old-school Marine Corps battle sword know and love. It's a tried and tested blade design that continues to prove its worth on the battlefields and wilderness of today.
Behind the blade, the hilt of the sword is encircled by five green bands - an aesthetic nod to the emblematic stacked leather hilt of the classic battle sword. But the familiarity pretty much ends there - at least as far as the handle is concerned. Retooled to meet the unique tactical demands and survival challenges of the modern age, the Blackout Sword's advanced injection molded handle is extremely durable and features a textured rubber grip that virtually eliminates slippage, even in wet environments and other harsh conditions. A USMC inlay is placed in the center of the handle, and a practical steel glass breaker is placed at the top of the handle.
Delivery includes a heavy duty black nylon cover with USMC embroidery.
