In the 3rd century, the Romans adopted the long and straight double-edged swords of the Germanic people: Spathae.
This replica is a reconstruction of a 3rd century spath. The blade is forged from steel, and the handle is made from bone. The wooden scabbard is covered with red leather and completed with authentic brass fittings.
