Description

John Lee Shiro Tanto
Shiro means "white" and stands, among other things, for purity and holiness, but also for sadness and death in Japanese culture. Samurai would wear white clothing under their armor as a symbol of their unwavering determination to fight to the end.

- Shinogi-Zukuri style blade with filler (Bo-Hi), hand forged from 1045 high carbon steel.
- Sharpened blade with Hamon line, for a particularly original look.
- White cotton handle wrap in traditional Hineri-Maki style.
- Wooden cover with a high-gloss white lacquered finish.
- The long end of the handle is attached to the handle with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword can thus be completely disassembled.
- Made only from authentic high-quality materials, without the use of plastic.
- Blade collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) made of brass.
- The traditional wrapping of the handle is completed with a lining made of genuine air leather.
- All ornaments (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) made of metal.
